What We Do
The Red Shoe Society, founded in 2012, is a diverse group of impact-driven professionals dedicated to generating awareness and financial support for Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM).
We have three primary goals:
Raising awareness through networking and events. The Red Shoe Society hosts a number of events throughout the year designed to bring professionals together to expand their personal and professional networks while raising awareness for RMHC-UM. These events are held at unique and exciting venues throughout the Twin Cities and often include drink specials, door prizes, raffles, and even guest speakers.
Promoting volunteerism. Each month, RSS provides volunteer opportunities forprofessionals at various RMHC-UM locations. This allows RSS members to directly impact the organization and support the families who rely upon the services of the RMHC-UM.
Building a base of support. By raising awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities through networking and events, and offering local professionals volunteer opportunities directly impacting the organization, the Red Shoe Society intends to build a long-term base of support for the charity and its initiatives. It is our hope that RSS members and their networks will become active supporters of the cause, increasing awareness of RMHC-UM throughout the local community while providing both service and financial support for years to come.
